Bespoke Luxury Lighting in This Central London Hotel
Located beside one of London’s iconic landmarks and inside its busy business district, the Leonardo Royal Hotel resides next to St. Paul’s Cathedral. Given its central location, this luxurious hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travellers alike.
Following a recent acquisition by the Fattal Hotel Group, the Leonardo Royal Hotel joins an established list of 160 exclusive properties that are spread right across Europe.
With every new name comes a shiny new face. Sundara Design were tasked with redesigning the interior of the Leonardo Royal Hotel that was previously known as The Grange. An expansive renovation project was devised for the reopening of this hotel under new management.
Transforming the décor of the reception and entertaining zones of the hotel, Sundara Design were able to provide a sleek, classy design in line with the premium quality associated with this thriving hotel group.
We worked closely with the Sundara team in designing a number of bespoke light fixtures that reflected the unique décor created by the tailored, interior-focused design group.

The reception area is an open space, comprised of warm hues that offer a welcoming sensation to guests. A number of large cylinder mesh wall lights compose the wall décor in this space and defuse a soft cast of light to the reception area.
The vertical wall lights showcase a decorative metal mesh facade that are warmly highlighted by an opal cylinder shade. In keeping with the rustic industrial style of the reception, these bespoke wall lights blend effortlessly into this modern interior.

Dotted throughout the reception and bar lounge areas are a collection of customised glass globe chandeliers. With a clean and simple style, the chandeliers range in size from four to six globes. The bespoke chandeliers feature an elegant central brass bar supporting clear glass globes that accentuate the chic industrial décor of the Leonardo Royal Hotel.
