Bespoke Lighting Manufacturer in Ireland

Mullan Lighting is a lighting design and manufacturing company based in Ireland, close to the border with the United Kingdom. We have the capacity to manufacture high-volume quantities of a single lighting product and one-off bespoke pieces.

Established in 2008, we combine our abilities in lean manufacturing with creativity from our team of lighting designers to create high-quality light fixtures at an affordable price. The majority of our light fixtures are manufactured for use in the hospitality and commercial sectors.

At our manufacturing facility in Ireland - which was once an old shoe mill - the quality of the lights that we manufacture is the main driving force to our success. Our client portfolio includes Caffé Nero, Costa Coffee, Google, Guinness, Hard Rock Cafe, Heineken, Hilton Hotels, Jameson, Jamie’s Italian, LEGOLAND, Novotel Hotels, Primark, Radisson Blu Hotels, Selfridges, Superdry, Ted Baker and many more.

 

Manufacture of lights bound for Dubai

As a light manufacturer focussed on quality and efficiency, we were awarded with a major lighting contract in Dubai in 2017. The contract included the manufacture of 1,500 custom-made outdoor light fittings bound for La Mer, a landmark beachfront development in the city of Dubai. La Mer opened to the public in early 2018. This project had many challenges from a manufacturing perspective. All 1,500 light fixtures are installed outdoors so must be able to withstand moisture, the salt sea air and intrusion from wind-blown sand.

 

Manufacturing bespoke chandeliers

Another such bespoke lighting project at the Pearse Lyons Distillery is described in detail on our blog. We were commissioned to design and manufacture three large, bespoke chandeliers that are now suspended in the historic and recently refurbished St. James’s Church. Two of the chandeliers measure 150cm in diameter while the third measures 250cm in diameter. All three chandeliers were manufactured by us from moulded copper and steel and are now proudly suspended in the new Dublin distillery.
