3 Design Scotland, a Glasgow-based interior design studio, were challenged with reinvigorating this space.
Balancing traditional Scottish and contemporary styles was a main focus while reimagining The Albyn, and 3 Design Scotland has achieved exactly that. The designer has created a space that feels fresh and modern while staying true to its Scottish heritage.

The dining area of The Albyn has an incredible blue colour palette with pops of bright yellow and warm rust tones. Light blue wood panelling and rich blue upholstery give the space an upscale feel while staying authentic with truly traditional tones. Our Sakura ceramic double wall lights in Blue Earth colour complement the other blue tones in this space beautifully, casting ambient accent lighting with their unique design.

Original Scottish artwork adorn the walls of this unique interior. Antlers mounted to the wall add a traditional touch and plants inject greenery into the space. We love the original windows and the coving around the ceiling that elevates the charm and character of this incredible restaurant.

The bar area of The Albyn has a warm, inviting atmosphere that promises comfort and quality. This bright, elegant space is loaded with warm, rich tones and a variety of mixed textures that give the space an inviting, cosy feel. We adore the exposed brick wall that adds an industrial element to this space. Our Denver wall lights help create a warm welcome that elevates the atmosphere of the space with their unique, sleek and practical design.

This elegant space has a light and lush feel with soft blue hues and strong mustard tones, as well as traditional Scottish tartan. Our Jam Jar ceiling lights give this area a quirky, retro edge while casting a soft glow with their versatile design. The contemporary art on the wall and plants lend a more modern style to the space while the framed black and white photograph and wood detailed wall add a more vintage touch to the space.
