At Mullan Lighting Design and Manufacturing Ltd. we recognise that we must integrate our business values and operations to meet the expectations of all our stakeholders. These include customers, employees, regulators, investors, suppliers, the community and the environment.
We recognise that our social, economic and environmental responsibilities to these stakeholders are integral to our business. We aim to demonstrate these responsibilities through our actions and within our company policies.
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, Mullan Lighting Design and Manufacturing Ltd. is committed to working in partnership with its communities, and various charitable organisations.
We are committed to being an active and supportive member of the community and we strive to ensure that our investment has a sustainable benefit. We recognise that a mix of financial contributions, as well as actual involvement with time, skills and donations in kind are all beneficial when investing in charities and our communities.
Some examples of our investment in community include;
- Employees voluntarily upgrading technical infrastructure and solutions in a nearby special needs school.
- The company funded the development of a community garden in Mullan Village.
- The company sponsors an array of local GAA, running and sporting clubs throughout each calendar year.
- Company director, Michael Treanor, is on the Board of Directors for the local GAA Club, the aforementioned special needs school and the local community development association.
- The company sponsors many employee and outside events that employees are encouraged to partake in, including school and creche fundraisers, events that provide support for those with Motor Neuron Disease and depression.
Ethics & integrity
Mullan Lighting Design and Manufacturing Ltd. is aware of its responsibility to operate ethically with integrity, and we are committed to this aim in all legal standards in our dealings with all stakeholders together with a commitment to delivering sustainable, cost-effective and creative lighting schemes and impartial advice.
We aim continuously to monitor and improve our corporate social responsibility policies; to encourage our partners to strive for matching standards, to act in a socially responsible way.

It is the policy of Mullan Lighting Design and Manufacturing Ltd. that we should be an active and supportive member of the community in which we operate.
We believe in demonstrating to our employees that we are responsive to the charities and community projects they most care about. Through collective efforts with carefully and personally choose charities where we hope to make donations that will make a real difference.
Mullan Lighting Design and Manufacturing Ltd. recognises their responsibility to minimise any potential adverse environmental impact of our operations and is committed to upholding its duties as an employer, as a business and as a good neighbour for the greater benefit of the communities in which we operate.
We continue to improve our environmental performance continually in accordance with our Environmental Policy through various means such as promoting LED Lighting Systems and other means to reduce energy consumption in the lighting industry and ensuring that products are in compliance with EU and international trading rules.
We aim to increase environmental awareness among staff and promote good environmental performance providing all staff with environmental awareness training and relevant job-specific training.
