European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020
Project Description: R&D initiatives in Mullan Lighting are co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.
Aims: To develop four new products / processes aimed at establishing and increasing R&D activity that will drive company development.
Results: Four new products / processes were successfully developed. As a result, three were launched into new and existing markets.
A graduate has been co-funded in this company by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midlands and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.
Aims: To recruit a graduate who will bring skills into the company that are critical to future growth.
Results: The graduate commenced employment and is contributing to improvements in company productivity and to changes in output to meet defined market requirements.

Aims: To recruit a Chief Financial Officer who will bring skills into the company that are critical to future growth.
Results: The employee commenced employment and is contributing to improvements within the company, in addition to providing timely financial information to help inform better management decision making.
