Bespoke Lighting Manufacturer in Ireland

Mullan Lighting is a lighting design and manufacturing company based in Ireland, close to the border with the United Kingdom. We manufacture everything from high-volume production runs to one-off bespoke pieces.

Established in 2008, we combine lean manufacturing with the creativity of our lighting designers to produce high-quality light fittings. Much of our lighting is manufactured for the hospitality and commercial sectors.

 

Our Irish manufacturing facility is housed in a restored former old shoe mill in Mullan Village, County Monaghan.

Quality is central to everything we produce. Our client portfolio includes Caffè Nero, Costa Coffee, Google, Guinness, Hard Rock Cafe, Heineken, Hilton Hotels, Jameson, Jamie’s Italian, LEGOLAND, Novotel Hotels, Primark, Radisson Blu Hotels, Selfridges, Superdry and Ted Baker.

 

Manufacturing lights for Dubai

In 2017, we were awarded a major contract to manufacture 1,500 custom outdoor light fittings for La Mer, a landmark beachfront development in Dubai that opened in early 2018.

The project presented several manufacturing challenges. As all 1,500 fittings were installed outdoors, they needed to withstand moisture, salt-laden sea air and wind-blown sand.

 

Manufacturing bespoke chandeliers

We were commissioned to design and manufacture three large bespoke chandeliers for the Pearse Lyons Distillery in Dublin. The chandeliers are suspended within the restored St James’s Church.

Two measure 60" in diameter, while the largest measures 100". Each was manufactured from molded copper and steel. Read more about the Pearse Lyons Distillery project here
