Bog Oak Organic Ceramic Disc Ceiling Light, Red Iron 28cm IP20

The Bog Oak ceramic ceiling light presents a grounded, sculptural form, where textured ceramic and warm metal detailing combine to create a distinctive ceiling fitting. Inspired by the ancient oak preserved in Irish peat bogs, its round ceramic disc introduces an organic, architectural presence to interior spaces.

Finished in a rich Red Iron glaze, the ceramic surface reveals a layered blend of rust and terracotta tones. Its coarse, crackled texture is formed by hand in our ceramic studio in Mullan Village, echoing the natural fissures and depth of tree bark. When illuminated, light gently washes across the surface, emphasising the intricate detailing and tonal variation of the handcrafted shade.

Measuring 28cm in diameter and projecting just 10cm from the ceiling, this compact fitting sits close to the surface while maintaining a strong visual presence. Styled with an exposed bulb, it creates a warm, ambient glow that enhances the surrounding space.

The ceiling rose and lamp holder are crafted from solid brass and are available in a selection of refined finishes, including antique brass, antique silver, polished brass, satin brass, polished copper, and matte black, allowing the piece to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior styles.
