Vintage lighting complements the refurbished interior of this Dublin café

Coffee 2 Go is a popular café located in the desirable suburbs of Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Blackrock is a picturesque seaside town that overlooks the sweeping Dublin Bay. Just 15 minutes from the capital’s city centre, Blackrock is a well-known hub for commercial industries with an array of cafés, restaurants and boutique shops. North Design commissioned a bespoke communal dining table in the centre of the café North Design, who feature in our top interior designers in Ireland blog post, undertook the re-design of Coffee 2 Go. Renowned for creating fresh interiors with powerful colours and lighting, North Design has a reputation for creating stunning spaces. This is certainly evident in the new layout of Coffee 2 Go. To help make maximum use of Coffee 2 Go’s small floor area, North Design commissioned a bespoke communal dining table in the centre of the café. This helps maximise seating capacity while adding a playful touch of colour and pattern to the space. Our Doon pendants are suspended above the café counter in Coffee 2 Go Our Doon pendants are suspended above the café counter An vintage-style aesthetic is promoted throughout the café with dark green and white tiles implemented behind the café counter to help draw customers’ eyes to the delicacies on offer. Suspended above the café counter, our Doon vintage pendant lights reflect light downwards on the counter with the help of its polished brass shade. The pendant lights beautifully complement the backdrop of tiles, adding to the vintage industrial theme with an exposed decorative filament bulb. This project by North Design was recently featured in the November issue of House and Homes magazine. Photo credit: Phillip Martin photography
