Mounted on a circular wall plate, the design pairs a reeded glass shade with a reflective brass surface. A partially concealed light source, paired with a mirror-top bulb, directs illumination back onto the plate while allowing light to diffuse outward through the glass.

This interaction of reflection and diffusion creates a soft halo effect, forming a luminous ring that enhances both light and shadow. Even when unlit, the composition retains a strong sculptural presence.
