Bespoke Elegant Light Fittings in this Stunning Laois Hotel
After recently been acquired by FBD Hotels and Resorts, the luxury five-star Heritage Hotel in Laois underwent a dramatic transformation.
Tailor & Wolf was tasked with the ambitious remodel of this popular spa resort.
The dining areas of this prestigious hotel were at the forefront of the redesign. A unique and luxury space was required for this area that is primarily used to entertain and dine guests.
Previously, the restaurant layout was mismatched. This led to a complete rethink of the entire space, allowing for a more welcoming and workable entertaining area.
Prior to the renovation, lighting proved to be a major flaw in the interior with insufficient light levels throughout the restaurant. The goal of the remodel was to ensure lighting was projected seamlessly and effortlessly throughout the dining areas.
Custom lighting was introduced into the various eating zones, bringing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to guests.
The space has been completely redeveloped into a bright and open lounge that guests can appreciate whilst dining for breakfast or dinner.
We teamed up with Tailor & Wolf to help create bespoke, tailor-made light fittings for the various dining areas in the hotel.
Our bespoke design team created a collection of stunning wall lights and chandeliers, guided by the design concept of the team at Tailor & Wolf. The results are simply beautiful.

The simplicity of this mid-century, five-arm wall light fills the breakfast dining area with warmth. The opal glass shades project a soft glow of light, allowing guests to dine in comfort.

The delicate and calm colour palette of the restaurant complements the unique architectural wall lights. The reverse style of the wall fittings provides an artistic feature for diners to enjoy. The curved brass arms balance the opal globes with sophistication.

Our Rome chandeliers have been adapted to perfectly suit this open dining hall. The simple wall colour scheme showcases the elegant globe chandeliers profoundly. The distinctive globe chandeliers cast a soft glow of light throughout the grand dining room.

This area of the restaurant can entertain larger parties who seek a more private setting. The sleek monochromatic tile flooring offers an urban twist to this luxury dining space.
The dramatic 10-arm contemporary globe chandelier adds to the luxury theme of this five-star hotel. Its brass arms contrast beautifully against the opal glass shades. The curved architectural design of this chandelier offers the space a regal touch.
The Heritage Hotel project offered our design team the opportunity to explore modern, mid-century styles and tested their creativity in taking a simple design and advancing it into a variety of lighting concepts.
With the support of our friends at Tailor & Wolf, we were able to provide a fitting lighting solution for the Heritage Hotel.
