Vintage brass pendants enliven the character of JJ Ruddles, Shannon Airport

Shannon Airport is one of three major airports in Ireland and has experienced continued growth in passenger numbers over recent years. Our Nerissa pendants in antique brass create a welcoming glow To facilitate this sustained growth, Shannon Airport expanded their food court facilities with the opening of JJ Ruddles Bar & Restaurant in their arrivals lounge. Inspired by Italian cuisine, the delicious menu - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - is a destination in its own right. Tess Stanford uniquely suspended our Nerissa pendants above the deli-counter Tess Stanford Interior Design – in collaboration with lighting supplier Dlight - created this sleek and stylish bar and restaurant, creating a captivating space where passengers can relax in a comfortable environment. Our Santiago wall lights are placed between the modern digital menu boards A modern contemporary design features a rich, dark oak deli counter that is beautifully finished with a chic marble counter-top. Tess Stanford suspended a series of customised Nerissa vintage pendant lights in a cross-over pattern above the modern food-counter. The Nerissa pendant in antique brass enlivens the character of JJ Ruddles and enriches its modern, sophisticated interior. These elegant vintage pendants provide a welcoming ambience that enhances the experience on offer at JJ Ruddles. JJ Ruddles showcases modern airport hospitality and how good restaurant lighting can be used enhance the experience for diners. Modern digital menu boards were designed for for JJ Ruddles that provide information to customers in a visual and comfortable way. Simple yet beautiful, our Santiago industrial wall lights are placed between the digital menu boards. With a striking satin brass finish, the Santiago wall light adds subtle homely tones to the space that is bold yet precise.
