Hakkaiza, an Asian restaurant situated on Sørenga harbour in Norway’s capital, has taken the idea of industrial restaurant design and refined it by adding an appropriate serving of Nordic influence. While the wave of industrial restaurant design shows no sign of abating, the design concept is beginning to be adopted and merged with other design disciplines. It’s hardly surprising that a restaurant in Oslo, looking out across the fjord, be the place that industrial meets Scandinavian influence.
Situated on the Route de Brumath in Vendenheim just north of Strasbourg is the quaint French restaurant Maison Rouge. The restaurant forms an integral part of the architectural heritage of Vendenheim and its surroundings. Local architects Les Agenceurs endeavoured to respect and preserve this culture when tasked with designing the refurbishment of this restaurant.

We’re very excited to have three of our light fixtures featured in a new Hop House 13 ad from Guinness. The ad centres on Sam’s Barbers in Dublin, a client of ours. Hop House 13 – a relatively recent addition to the craft beer scene – aligns itself with the ethos characterised by Sam’s Barbers, a family-run chain of barbershops where patrons are invited to “sit down, relax, have a beer”.
