Earlier this year Mullan Lighting completed the manufacture and on-site assembly of an impressive double ring chandelier in the newly refurbished Foyle Golf Centre, Derry. The two-tier chandelier measures three meters in diameter and contains RGBW LED strip lights, allowing the chandelier’s light colour to be altered, reflecting the ambience of the occasion within the venue below.

We’re heading to Frankfurt later this month to exhibit at Light + Building. We’ll showcase our new, expanded range of outdoor and bathroom lights, as well as a dozen new and exciting light fixture designs that we’ve been working on over the last few months.

We’re gearing up for a busy period in the lighting industry’s trade show calendar with events in Dublin, Frankfurt, London and Paris over the next six months. We’re unveiling some of the exciting new products that we’ve recently developed at each show.
Next month marks the start of the Autumn industry trade shows for us. We’re starting with the magnificent MAISON&OBJET in Paris in September, then moving on to 100% Design in London (also in September) before our final trade show of 2017 at Sleep in London in November.
Hakkaiza, an Asian restaurant situated on Sørenga harbour in Norway’s capital, has taken the idea of industrial restaurant design and refined it by adding an appropriate serving of Nordic influence. While the wave of industrial restaurant design shows no sign of abating, the design concept is beginning to be adopted and merged with other design disciplines. It’s hardly surprising that a restaurant in Oslo, looking out across the fjord, be the place that industrial meets Scandinavian influence.
We’re expanding our product portfolio to include a new range of light fixtures specifically designed for use in the hotel industry. This adds to our already impressive offering of light fixtures ideally suited to the retail and hospitality industries.
We’re very excited to have three of our light fixtures featured in a new Hop House 13 ad from Guinness. The ad centres on Sam’s Barbers in Dublin, a client of ours. Hop House 13 – a relatively recent addition to the craft beer scene – aligns itself with the ethos characterised by Sam’s Barbers, a family-run chain of barbershops where patrons are invited to “sit down, relax, have a beer”.
